"Eddie and I" is a 6Dof interactive virtual reality experience that aims to help 7-year-old Ron, who is hard of hearing, conquer his fear of camping.
In this experience, you embody the character of Eddie, a forest-dwelling monster, using hand-tracking technology to guide Ron through his camping nightmare.
But will you be able to overcome the communication gaps, learn sign language and help Ron overcome his fear?
"Eddie and I" was funded by Makor Foundation and won the XR Development Market Prize at the NewImages Festival that took place in Paris in 2023.
